Antoine Rolland is a professor and researcher on statistics at the Department of Statistics and Business Intelligence at the University IUT Lumière Lyon II. His research includes the subject matters of models of preferences, the Choquet integral, robustness analysis, and the voting process.

I copyedited his peer-reviewed article entitled: “Deepest Voting: a new way of electing”.

My copyediting approach included:

Checking for and correcting:

• Errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.
• Technical consistency in capitalization, font usage, hyphenation, and spelling consistency (UK-US spelling).

 Line-editing focused on:

• Improving word choice.
• Rewriting and restructuring in conjunction with the French version of the article provided  (by adding remarks in the comment section of the word document).
• Checking the readability of the article ensuring that the reader can grasp the writer’s argumentation.
• Checking for redundancies, tone of voice, flow, and coherence.
