His research focuses on a variety of medical issues including among others the Pathophysiology of inflammatory pulmonary edema, Models on human lungs and large mammals, and Refractory cardiac arrest.

I copyedited his peer-reviewed article on “Continuous endogenous exhaled CO monitoring by laser spectrometer in human EVLP”.

My copyediting approach included:

Checking for and correcting:

  • Errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.
  • Technical consistency in capitalization, font usage, hyphenation, and spelling consistency (UK-US spelling).

 Line-editing focused on:

  • Improving word choice.
  • Rewriting and restructuring in conjunction with the French version of the article provided  (by adding remarks in the comment section of the word document).
  • Checking the readability of the article ensuring that the reader can grasp the writer’s argumentation.
  • Checking for redundancies, tone of voice, flow, and coherence.
