Nicolas Laurence is a Ph.D. researcher in the field of economics and a member of the Laboratoire Triangle at the University of Lyon2-France. His research is centralized on blockchain and complementary monetary currencies.
Having the objective to participate in the 32nd Annual Meeting Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE), virtual conference, Amsterdam, Netherlands, July 2020, Nicolas Laurence benefited from my copyediting, line-editing, and transcreation services for his article entitled: “Monetary Contestation as a Driving Force of Institutional Change: the French Case of Eusko”.
My copyediting approach included:
Checking for and correcting:
- Errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.
- Technical consistency in capitalization, font usage, hyphenation, and spelling consistency (UK-US spelling).
Line-editing focused on:
- Improving word choice.
- Rewriting and restructuring in conjunction with the French version of the article provided (by adding remarks in the comment section of the word document).
- Checking the readability of the article ensuring that the reader can grasp the writer’s argumentation.
- Checking for redundancies, tone of voice, flow, and coherence.
